Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie (born November 24 1982) is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for Senate in the United States, and a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will quit the show in May 2021 to start Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics partly to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primary elections. Furthermore, she observed the US presidency election during her time working in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in that country and she was able to appreciate the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 15, 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
